Fabrication of a Hinged Circuit Breaker PanelWith our capacity to provide precision assemblies, our fabrication team here at Pyramid Fab and Finish built the hinged circuit breaker panel highlighted here for a customer in the electrical industry. Constructed from 0.125″ thick aluminum sheet, our skilled technicians were able to use our bending and punch tools to create the hinges directly on the cover and back panel sections, which eliminated the need for separate hardware and reduced assembly steps. Having conveyorized powder coating equipment also allowed us to rapidly apply the durable white powder finish.

When completed, this circuit breaker panel cover measured 15.0″ in length and 9.0″ in width. Both dimensional and visual inspections validated that we satisfied the customer requirements for both performance and quality. We currently produce these in lots ranging from 100 to 2000 units within a four week timeframe.
